SUSTAINABILITY
Waste, but make it accountable.
The waste industry runs on paper trails that go nowhere. We built WasteMatch to make every kilogram traceable — from your driveway to its final destination.
94%+ diverted from landfill
Our carriers are ranked, in part, on their landfill diversion rate. Higher rates get more jobs.
Digital Waste Tracking ready
From October 2026 all waste receivers must report receipt of waste to Defra's Digital Waste Tracking service. Every job captures the EWC code, R/D code, quantity and receiver details required — pre-filled for your carrier.
Licensed carriers only
All carriers hold a valid upper-tier waste carrier licence with the EA, SEPA, or NIEA. Verified monthly.
Carbon-aware routing
The matcher favours the nearest available carrier, cutting van miles and emissions per job.
Our role
WasteMatch.tech is registered as an introducer — not a waste carrier itself. Under Defra's Digital Waste Tracking rules the receiving carrier is the "waste receiver" with the legal duty to report each collection. We give them a pre-filled receipt payload (EWC code, recovery/disposal code, estimated weight, hazardous and POPs flags) so nothing gets missed and nothing gets faked.
